Throughout the year Maison du Fort offers a wonderful range of art events in and around the beautiful bastide villages of the Lot et Garonne region of South West France. We also run regular art classes and workshops in our main studio and within the Lauzun Ateliers in Lauzun.
WEEKLY ART CLASSES FOR ADULTS
EVERY TUESDAY MORNING 9.30am – 12.30pm
This class is fully tutored and is perfect for beginners and those looking to improve their skills and meet new friends.

One Day Art Workshops
The next one day workshop will be:
Spring Painting – mixed media day workshop Saturday 29th March 2025
10.30am – 4.30pm with all materials included and lunch included for €85
A colourful, fun painting day using mixed media and acrylic painting techniques to create a wonderful spring canvas
Perfect for beginners and improvers, our workshops are set in a welcoming environment.
A delicious 2 course lunch of regional food and wines will be served. Tea/coffee and cake served throughout the day will help with the inspiration and creativity.

Life Drawing
The grand studio is the ideal large space to host life drawing classes. These classes will be a regular fixture on the Manor calendar of events and can be booked in blocks of 3 classes at a time.
Full tuition will be given at every stage of drawing, whether you are a beginner or improver. All materials and models are provided together with a glass of wine , coffee, tea or cold refreshment included in the fee.

Grand Studio and Exhibition Space Hire
The grand studio has its own dedicated print space, printing press and free standing easels. It is fully stocked and equipped for workshops and courses. White walls and space for art evenings, talks, life drawing and art exhibitions are also available.
