If you are 18 or over, looking for some time out of the everyday, something different to do for a weekend, week or more, willing to get your hands dirty and enjoy a bit the French bonhomie, then why not volunteer at The Manoir?
Either with experience or without, we are looking for those who wish to be part of the refreshing of this grand old lady and continue the Manoir’s 300 year old story.
WORK TO BE DONE
We have a range of activities that we need energetic folk to work on. See below at just some of the jobs to do.
- General maintenance and clearance
- Gardening and creating raised beds for veg and flowers with paths and arches
- Wallpaper stripping and painting
- Planting an orchard
- Stripping and painting windows and shutters (on going job)
- Landscaping
- Light DIY projects, second in command roles
- Studio set ups
- Patio laying
- And much more..
WHAT WE PROVIDE
You will live with us in the Manoir but have your own beautiful bedroom. Bathroom and kitchen facilities are shared. We cover all your meals and enjoy getting together for a delicious meal at the end of the day.
We can help you with any trips and you will have use of the outdoor pool in season (nice at the end of a days work) as well as having time off to visit the area and enjoy being in France.
We will collect and return you from local airport or train station.
IMPORTANT STUFF
You will need your own health insurance – since Brexit you will need the new UK Global Health Insurance Card (UK GHIC) for basic medical cover or you can take out a small health insurance policy to cover your stay in France.
