SUNDAY ART DAYS – Slow down, create, connect
A relaxed, joyful day beginning with sketching and charcoal drawing in our own sketchbooks in the studio. We will also explore acrylic painting techniques. In the afternoon we will explore painting with acrylics and expressive brushwork taking inspiration from the manoir garden and terrace.
Perfect for beginners and improvers, the day is about learning new skills, enjoying gentle creative mindfulness and making new friends. You’ll leave with your own handmade sketchbook filled with the drawings and paintings you’ve created.

MONDAY ART DAYS — Sketch, Paint, Picnic, Breathe
Start by learning how to draw an easy composition and how to begin a painted canvas. Then head out to the stunning Lot et Garonne countryside for en plein air painting. Choose your view, set up your easel and refine your composition on location.
Pause for a delicious 3 course picnic with regional wines, savouring the landscape and the moment. Then enjoy a relaxed painting session bringing your plein air studies to life. Return to the studio for a friendly final review of the day’s work.
Transport to and from the painting location provided. Perfect for beginners and improvers looking for creative inspiration, fresh air and new friends.

TUESDAY ART DAYS – Botanical Creative Day
Begin the day enjoying the beauty of Les Jardins de la Clapiéra. Wander through the beautiful gardens with sketchbooks to draw, paint and photograph the incredible plants and natural details that catch our eye.
Along the way, we’ll thoughtfully gather fallen leaves and interesting foliage to bring back to the studio for our afternoon session.
After lunch we’ll dive into the vibrant world of gelli printing. Using the beautiful natural materials we’ve collected, you’ll learn how to create unique, colourful botanical prints full of texture, pattern and personality. No two prints are ever the same.
Spend the day surrounded by creativity, colour and the calming inspiration of the garden. Perfect for Beginner level.

WEDNESDAY HALF DAY – Linoprint Morning – Create, Carve & Enjoy
A relaxed and inspiring beginner friendly morning where you’ll learn how to design, carve and print your very own linocut artwork. Discover how to safely cut your design, ink it up and print onto beautiful papers (or even fabric if you’d like to try something a little different!).
There’s something wonderfully mindful about lino printing. It’s creative time just for you — no rush, no pressure — simply the joy of making.
And if you’d like to make a morning of it, a delicious 2 course lunch can also be booked (€15 pp) The perfect way to round off a creative experience.

FRIDAY ART DAYS – Colour, Culture, Creativity
Start in the studio creating bold, colourful inky backgrounds — loose, expressive and full of movement. These will become the perfect base for our sketches. Then head out to a beautiful local Bastide village to draw directly onto them.
Relax on the terrace at Auberge La Papaille for a delicious three-course lunch with stunning views stretching across the landscape. Then we’ll continue sketching and painting from the comfort of the cool terrace, capturing the sweeping views or working on our morning sketches — all at a relaxed, inspiring pace.
End the day with a glass of fizz and a friendly review of everyone’s creations — sharing inspiration, laughter and those special creative moments. All levels welcome.
